Advisory Fee – A management/advice fee that compensates for a variety of professional services.

Loads/Commissions – A commission paid to a broker by a mutual fund when shares are purchased, taken as a percentage of funds invested.

Mutual Fund (Expense Ratio) – The percentage of the fund’s assets that go purely toward the expense of running the fund.  It includes management fees, administrative costs and distribution and advertising expenses.

Trading Charges (SAI) – Brokerage costs for trading the portfolio and transaction costs of spreads.  These two costs can add significantly to the reported expenses of a fund.
